Cradle to Career networks bring people and groups together to shape the future for our kids. We create opportunities to improve the whole family’s life. The heartbeat of our networks is community.

Each of our Cradle to Career Coalition members is nested in a California neighborhood, city or county. Members gather people together to support children from before birth through high school, college and career. Our communities build on the strengths we already have. Together, we are shaping the future of our children.

In 2020, we came together to form the California Cradle to Career (C2C) Coalition. We build on the power and impact of California’s Promise Neighborhoods and Strive Together Networks. Now we plan to grow stronger and plant more seeds across the state.

Intention

The California Cradle to Career Coalition pushes for policies that build the cradle to career movement and create long-lasting community solutions that benefit everyone no matter their background, skin color, gender identity, sexuality, class, age, or ability.

Coalition Support

StriveTogether, GRACE & End Child Poverty CA, and CA:FWD support the creation and ongoing work of the California Cradle to Career Coalition with the goal of funding and expanding this data-driven, integrated service delivery model throughout California.

StriveTogether is a national network of local communities working to achieve racial equity and strong, stable futures.

GRACE & End Child Poverty California

GRACE & End Child Poverty California makes a positive difference in the lives of low-income families and children through value-based collaborations and by formulating, implementing, and expanding anti-poverty measures.

CA:FWD

CA:FWD leads a statewide movement, bringing people together across communities, regions and interests to improve government and create inclusive, sustainable growth for everyone.

MEET OUR MEMBERS

Cradle to Career networks make sure everyone is in the mix are working together: schools, families, nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, health clinics and more. We take all the moving parts that impact a child in a community and join them together to create a path to wholeness and success. This work takes a village. We get to know each other. We listen. We come up with new ideas. We value data and use it. We look for long-lasting solutions, not quick fixes. We are building systems that are for us and by us. We are communities working together for change.
